The Italian newspaper ”Corriere della Sera, citing diplomatic sources, reported that Finland has asked for negotiations which Greece Eurogroup aid endorses its islandsand monuments of the Acropolis, including the Parthenon.
“As a condition for new loans to Greece, Finland, at some point in the gruelingEuropean negotiations, asked to be given guarantees Greek public goods,” says the ‘Corriere’ citing diplomatic sources.
According to Finland, these monuments would be about guarantees of 300 million euros. However, the paper does not clarify if the monuments would be rented or transported to Helsinki.
