The so-called Horse Guards Parade is the largest open space in the British capital. He is internationally known through the annual Trooping the Colour, which is celebrated every second Saturday in June.
At the Trooping the Colour on the face of the Horse Guards Parade is a military parade, held in honor of the birthday of the Queen, or in general of the British monarch. It has its origin in the ceremonial passing of the British flag in front wearing a pending war or battle. The soldiers were to recognize the flag in the war so easily.
